Have you ever met a real author? Well, we have! Yesterday, we met a real author that came into our very room. Can you believe it?! Mr. Bill Smith was our old principal at Schroeder, and he wrote a book called Chickadees At Night. He recited the first page of it for us, and we loved it sooooo much that we wanted to read the whole book! Then, he said that we could find it in the teacher's lounge. So today, our teacher read it to us. We loved it! We were so excited to think that if he could be an author, we could too, someday! Find out more about the book here.

I loved that are old principal came into our classroom and read half of his book so much that I am going to make a book like Mr. Smith's.

Thank you! I couldn't do it without the support of our wonderful parents! I feel truly fortunate to be entrusted with your most precious gift - your children - every day! Comments are closed.
