It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

2/16/2015

Happy Presidents Day! Last time I posted my weekend reading, a lot of you were excited to find new great books to read, so I thought I'd do it again! I'm still working on my 2015 goal to read all the books in the classroom library. The only problem is I keep buying new books to add to it! I may never catch up! Oh well, at least that will give you lots of new books to explore and love. Here are the books that I've been reading this weekend. What looks good? If you leave a comment, you'll get to be the first one in our class to read it!

What have you been reading? Share it here in your comment, or go to Biblionasium.com to add it to you shelf, write a review, and recommend it to friends. I'll send login information to your parents in case you forgot!

Happy Reading!

I love the Harry Potter series! It is a good one to read and talk about together. Be prepared - this one gets very intense and scary at the end!
Ranger in Time was really good! It has danger and adventure, too, but a different kind. I'll give it to you on Wednesday!

Emily Freeman

What is Journey to the Moon like? It sounds interesting! Is it nonfiction? The What If books are really funny - you'll love this one!

Journey to the moon is a cool fiction pop up book. It is a story about a boy when he goes on a trip with his imagination to the moon. First he goes on different vehicles and he meets aliens on the moon.

The pop up book is a fun way to combine imagination and visualization.

Wow, that sounds really cool, Arjun! Thank you for writing so many details about it. Now you have me excited to check it out some time!

Emily Freeman
2/16/2015 09:04:59 am

Why? Adventure Time is hilarious! Don't ever be nervous to talk about what you like to read, Piper! You might be surprised to find someone who likes the same things. And then they can show you even more books you'll like! Are they graphic novels? I have some other good ones in the classroom that you might like. We can look on Wednesday!

Piper

Wow! What If You Had Animal Feet is really popular in our class! We'll have to share it! If you like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, then I think you'll like a new book I just got. It's called Stick Dog Wants a Hot Dog, and it reminds me of the Wimpy Kid books. I'll pass it on to you as soon as I'm done with it!
