Today we had science centers!!! It was our lucky day because we almost didn't have enough volunteers. Thankfully, we got them at the last minute. For science centers, we were learning about air. We learned about different types of ways to use air. Some of the activities were: balloon rockets, air cannons, water fountains, bouncing beach balls, and balloons in bottles. We learned that air can push things, even water! We also learned that if you put a balloon in a bottle, you can't blow it up unless you poke another hole. Then, the air in the balloon can push the air in the bottle up out of the hole. We also learned that the more air you squeeze into a ball, the bouncier it will be. Wow! Stay tuned to hear more about super duper air science!
