Ipads, SMARTboards, Kindles, oh my! With all the choices out there, teachers struggle to choose the most effective tool. When do we use it? How should we use it? There are so many questions, it's hard to tell where to begin! Well, one place to start is thinking about ways kids can be creative with technology.

This post was written by a group of teachers at the Lake Orion Literacy Institute this summer. They were learning about blogging as a tool for engaging students in authentic writing tasks with a global audience. We began this post as an illustration of how easy it is to incorporate blogging into shared writing routines in the classroom. But, we never finished!
